Things I learnt from TV about teenagers
1] All teenagers are rebel scum. Every single one of them. All of them are bastards who either unbelievably understanding or intolerable assholes who will get into problem with authorative figures. 2] Sex solves EVERYTHING. You killed my mother? We argue, there might be gun-waving action, then we have sex and it's all good. 3] Safe sex is good but virginity is bad. Out of three teenagers on television, six of them had sex before; probably 2 of them got pregnant. Oh, and there's virtually no abortion on TV. Every teenager will want to keep their love child. 4] The jocks are ALWAYS jocks. The nerds are always nerds. Seriously, I've never seen this in real life. Do 100% jocks/nerds exist? There's virtually no racial stereotype on tv but school hierachy stereotype is always there _____________________________________________________________________ I had such a pms-y 2, 3 days. The NY guy is letting me down. He didn’t show up for a prearranged online chat last night. No explanation. So I don’t think he and I are compatible - I need someone I can count on to keep his promises. I think I’m going to just ixnay the whole dating thing and concentrate on my cat. THE CAST DOES WGN RADIO We were all set to appear on Brian Noonan's WGN radio show http://wgnradio.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=98&Itemid=173 but there was a problem. Our show ended at 9:30 pm, what would we do until 2 am when we were to be at the station? We decided to party at the Liar's Club! Now, Saturday nights there is a heavy dose of 80's and 90's dance music, the women out number the men and the cast fell right into dancing and drinking the night away! We staggered out around 1:15 am to head to the Tribune building - what a night. A standing room only audience, dancing and drinking and then one hour on the WGN radio show! Easily one of the top ten nights of my theatre life! The cast performed the Iroquois Fire, the infamous medium scene, and the Haunted Hooter's sketch! Only 6 more performances coming up- make sure you see this one!
